BUSINESS
- To approve the minutes of the 2023 AGM
- To receive and note the financial statements and reports for the period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024
- To accept the 2023-24 Annual Report
- To appoint up to two (2) Board Directors
- To appoint an Auditor for the 2024-25 financial year.

Proxys
Consistent with clause 20 of the Livestock SA Constitution, any Member who is entitled to vote may appoint in writing another Member who is a natural person to be their proxy and to attend and vote at the AGM. If you cannot attend and wish to appoint a proxy, please complete and return the attached Appointment of Proxy Form to admin@livestocksa.org.au no later than 3 November 2024.
Important Voting Information
Dear Member
On 18 October 2024, you will receive an email from an independent polling agency ‘TrueVote’ enabling you to vote on director appointments to the Livestock SA Board.
As you may recall, on 19 June 2024 members voted in favour of Livestock SA’s corporate structure changing from an incorporated association to a company limited by guarantee.
The transition to a company limited by guarantee, which does not affect the work Livestock SA does but ensures the organisation is properly governed, more transparent and more accountable to producers and other stakeholders, will be completed on 1 January 2025.
A question has been included in the TrueVote Director Elections to enable you to confirm your membership of the new company, ‘Livestock SA Limited’, to ensure there is no interruption to your membership status and benefits post 1 January 2025.
As a company limited by guarantee, members must agree to guarantee the operations of the company to a limit of $1. Note: this does not require you to pay any money to the organisation.

Nominations for two Livestock SA Board positions open
Livestock SA is calling for nominations for two member elected Board Director positions. The two available positions are for:
- A livestock producer involved in the cattle industry
- A livestock producer involved in the sheep or cattle industries or a livestock industry professional.
Nominees must return a completed ‘Livestock SA Board Nomination Form’ to the Livestock SA office by 5:00pm (ACDT) Tuesday 15 October 2024.
